The terms for using SignMyMail, a free email signature generator.
What SignMyMail is
SignMyMail ("the service") is a free website that helps you create an HTML email signature in your browser. By using it you agree to these terms.
Free to use
The service is free for personal and commercial use. You may use the signatures you create in any email client, on any account, without attribution. There is no account to create and no subscription.
Your content
Everything you type into the generator, and every image you upload, stays in your browser. You are responsible for that content: make sure you have the right to use the name, photo, logo, and links you put in your signature, and that the signature does not misrepresent who you are or who you work for.
Icons and images
Social icons referenced by your signature are hosted on this website so that email clients can display them. We aim to keep them available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted hosting. If you need full control, use the "text links" icon style or host the icons yourself.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Email clients change how they render HTML, and we cannot guarantee that a signature will look identical everywhere or that it will be accepted by every client. Use the deliverability check and test your signature before relying on it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service, including lost email, mis-rendered signatures, or issues caused by third-party email clients.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to create signatures that impersonate others, distribute malware, or violate any law. Do not attempt to overload or disrupt the website.
Changes to the service
We may change or discontinue features at any time. Signatures you have already copied into your email client are unaffected, except for hosted icons as noted above.
Changes to these terms
Updated terms are posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
